Eleven Miles Join The Fight with Teddy Rocks

In 2011, a small gig to raise money for Teddy20, a children’s cancer charity founded by Tom Newton and his family after losing his younger brother Ted to a rare form of bone cancer, was organised in a local pub. Fast forwards to 2022, and through a dedicated team of friends, family and sponsors, this once small gig has grown to a fully fledged rock festival, raising hundreds of thousands of pounds for the charity.

Last year, Tom called on Eleven Miles to support the growing Teddy Rocks Festival with their marketing and communications, helping to promote the event, and ultimately increase ticket sales and donations for Teddy20. Eleven Miles snapped up the opportunity to support this local organisation and charity, as a cause very close to our hearts.

In 2019, Eleven Miles Managing Director, Neil, experienced first hand the impact of childhood cancer on a family, when their eldest daughter, Ella was diagnosed. After two tough years and with the help of the most amazing people, we are extremely proud of Ella for battling through, having now been given the all clear by her consultants.

Eleven Miles have been invited back for more this year and are super excited to be extending the relationship with Tom and the Teddy Rocks team. We’ll be taking on even more of the marketing and communications for the festival, covering everything from social media, to advertising, to creative communications, helping to make 2023 the most successful yet!
