LinkedIn Adds New Tools To Improve Accessibility, discovery and more
LinkedIn has announced a number of new features. This includes adding live captions for LinkedIn audio events which will improve accessibility and provide users with an additional way to engage with video content on the platform. LinkedIn is also adding the capability for those using creator mode to add a unique referral link to the top of their profiles, adding the ability for service providers to share their reviews with their community, plus more.

Twitter Launches Super Followers Only Spaces
Twitter has announced it is rolling out Super Follower only Spaces to creators on the platform offering a Super Follows subscription. This will give creators an additional way of engaging with their subscribers on the platform.

YouTube Adds Green Screen Feature For Shorts
YouTube has announced a new creative function for Shorts called Green Screen. This will allow users to use any eligible YouTube video or Short as the background of their Shorts video. Videos created with Green Screen will be attributed back to the original creator's video by a link in the Shorts player. Creators can also opt out of Green Screen in YouTube Studio if they don’t want their long form content to be remixed by others. This feature is currently being rolled out gradually to iOS users with a view to roll out to Android users in the coming months.

TikTok has launched a new interactive insights platform to give marketers more insight into audiences on TikTok. The platform provides a number of insights which can be filtered by categories such as Location, Audience, Industry, plus more.

Snapchat Announces New Option To Display eBay Listings In Snaps
Snapchat has announced that users will now be able to share eBay listings within their Snaps. When users select a listing in the eBay app they will now have the option to share the listing to Snapchat. This will automatically take the user to the Snapchat camera where the listing will appear as a sticker. When shared, viewers will be able to tap the eBay sticker which will take them directly to the product listing in the eBay app.

TikTok Launches Branded Mission
TikTok has launched a new advertising solution called Branded Mission which will enable brands to crowdsource content from creators on the platform, boost top performing videos as ads as well as drive media impressions. Brands will be able to define their Branded Mission and eligible creators will be notified and can choose to participate by submitting content. The top performing creator content will be shortlisted for advertisers to select which will then become the media campaign, seen as an In-Feed ad. Eligible creators whose content is selected will receive a cash payment and boosted traffic and other creator's submissions will be visible on the For You page as organic content.

TikTok Creates New Tool For Users To Credit Original Creators
TikTok has announced new features to better enable creator credit, allowing users to directly tag, mention and credit a video in their description. This means when users create content inspired by another clip they can credit the original source of inspiration. To encourage users to credit sources, TikTok will be rolling out more user prompts to credit creators through the posting process as well as having an educational pop-up that will encourage and explain the importance of crediting content.
