Eleven Miles to help revive the British icon Duckhams
We’re thrilled to announce we’ve been appointed by Duckhams oil – a truly legendary brand – especially in the world of motoring.
Once the largest independent oil company in the UK, and with a rich heritage dating back to 1899, Duckhams was one of the best-known British brands in the second half of the 20th century.
A true ‘love brand’.
They ran monumental TV ads and had enviable ties to motorsport, supporting the likes of Hunt, Mansell and Senna. Duckhams was acquired by BP, who shelved the brand in the early part of the 21st century in favour of their own, which left everybody wondering what happened to them.
After an absence of nearly 15 years, and now under new ownership, our job is to help bring Duckhams back to life and make it a true ‘love brand’ once again.
We’ve already created a brand strategy, a new identity and communications that target car enthusiasts, and reinforces the quality of this unique green-coloured oil, which was historically specified by all major classic car manufacturers.

The engine’s choice.
Launched at the NEC Classic Motor Show this year, with an attendance of over 70,000 people, a newly designed heritage Duckhams range attracted huge levels of interest from the press and public. Following on from there, the response has been incredible, from a sales and engagement perspective.
But this is just the very start of our journey with Duckhams. There are countless merchandising and licensing opportunities and we’re continuing our strategy to help return this brand to its former glory.
