LinkedIn has launched a new guide for B2B marketers on how to increase performance of creative content on the platform. This includes a number of useful tips and best practices, from how to create an effective content strategy, through to outlining data-driven creative best practices for content on the platform.
TikTok Launches Audience Insights Tool
TikTok has launched Audience Insights which is a tool to help advertisers better understand their audiences on the platform. This tool will allow advertisers to explore user interests, behaviours and demographics, discover aggregate audience information, as well as strengthening audience planning workflow through using research to build audience personas. TikTok has outlined four ways this can be of use to those advertising on the platform, one of which is how this tool can be used to discover insights when planning a campaign. Brands can gain insight by filtering audiences by interactions made with hashtags, category of creators, as well as through engagement.
Pinterest Launches Holiday Campaign
On November 7th, Pinterest launched its first ever holiday campaign called "Gift Like You Get Them". The campaign focuses on how the platform can be used to aid people in gaining insight and inspiration for gift ideas this holiday season. The campaign comprises five videos which will run across social, programmatic online video and connected TV. In addition, Pinterest has also released a holiday gift guide based on zodiac signs, providing a number of trends and gift ideas for people based on their sign.
TikTok Announces 2022 Discover List
TikTok’s global community represents every facet of culture. From entertainment, to food, to fashion, art, and more — the creators continue to be the driving force behind emerging trends and innovative content creation. To celebrate, TikTok has announced The Discover List 2022. This is their second annual showcase highlighting fifty creators who are driving positive change on the platform and beyond. The discover list is broken down into five categories: Changemakers, Icons, Innovators, Foodies, and Originators, with ten creators featured in each category. Along with listing the creators, TikTok has also provided a link to a guide which provides more information about each of the creators.
YouTube Announces Holiday Shopping Showcase
YouTube has announced a new holiday shopping showcase called "From YouTube to You". This will be a collection of videos, livestreams and Shorts made by some of the platform's biggest creators and a number of brands to provide 10 days of shoppable content. This will also include creator's curated gift recommendations as well as access to exclusive product drops and promotions.
